Villagers may live: • On a farm, if they own one • In houses for workers on their employers' land (farms) • In a house in the village
Gewin may live • In the woods
Guardians and Outsiders may not make residence requests.
If you don't think that there is going to be much occasion to post within your characters' home (i.e., they live alone and do not throw parties) then you do not need to apply for a home; just start your thread on the Residences board and not any of the sub-boards there.
Fill in the following form in order to request that a residence be added as a sub-board to the "Residences" board. The only required entry is the names of the character(s) who will be inhabiting the place. Leave the optional fields blank in order to leave them up to the admin (don't worry--we know what we're doing, most of the time). Requests will be subject to acceptance or denial by the admin.

If your character has a farm or business, the same form can be used to have it added as a sub-board in the Village or Farms boards. Just change "Resident(s)" to "Owner(s)".

Resident(s): Rossana Doyle Description: A sturdy four room brick and stone cottage, walls covered by a pale yellow climbing rose Marina Doyle brought from her native Italy, stands at the end of the residential section of town and on the edges of the larger farm properties. It is actually a fairly small home, as the first and largest room, which faces the street, is equipped with a counter and shelves and serves as the apothecary shop. A door in the back leads to the second largest room and the main living quarters of the Doyle residence, which contains a large but simple hearth and stove a brass bathtub in the corner, a dinner table and chairs and an oak wood chest of drawers. The two smaller rooms are bedrooms, but only one is in use. Rossana has moved into her parents' old room and begun using the spare as a storage space. Pressed up to the side of the Doyle house is a three stall stable and tackroom, which houses Rossana's prize steed Apollo. The fertile three acres of meadow behind the apothecary and cottage are crossed with split pole fences. A modest sized but beautifully maintained greenhouse takes up half an acre, while another half acre is a lush herb garden. The remaining two acres are pasture for the horses. Photo:
I wasn't sure whether or not to post the request since Rossana lives alone, but since I always invisioned her house containing the apothecary as well, it might be apt to include it?
