Appearance: Blue eyes, golden blond hair. Claim is Elisha Cuthbert.
Personality: Quick-witted, flirtatious, independent, rebellious
Biography: Mary Lynn is a daughter of John and Olivia Bell, part of one of the most well-off farm-owning families in the village. She has a reputation as the most good-looking and charming young woman for miles, but still feels as if she lives on the backburner to her siblings. Her two older siblings, Erick and Bess, are admired and constantly praised as icons of perfect responsibility and dutiful modesty. Her younger sister Beatrice is hardly the brightest bulb in the box. The youngest is Mercy Alice, who due to being partly deaf and blind requires constant care and sympathy. Mary resents that she must wait until Bess is married to be courted. Her frustration is often expressed through flaunting of propriety, stubbornness and fierce pride.
Name: Erick Bell
Species: Human

Appearance: Blue eyes, blond. Claim is Chase Crawford.
Personality: Polite, witty, charming, playful, well-mannered, careless with hearts, places large significance on honour and duty
Biography: Erick is the second child and only son of John and Olivia Bell. He is heir to the Bell Farm, one of the most coveted pieces of land in the valley. He is protective of his sisters, especially Beatrice and Mercy, and prefers Bess out of all of them. He has a low opinion of females, thinking that (aside from Bess, of course) they are unintelligent, emotional and given to whim.
Name: Kingsley McKay
Species: Human
Gender: Male
Age: 22
Appearance: Up to the player; twin to Keira
Personality: Up to the player
Biography: Kingsley and Keira were born to Edward and Kathrine McKay in year XXVIII. They were raised by their mother in the small cottage home at the edge of the farm on which their father worked. He ignored both his wife and them for the most part, simply working, eating and sleeping. When Kathrine died following little Katherine's birth, the children mostly received their care from neighbours' wives when the women found the time. When they were old enough, they commenced with caring for themselves and for their little sister. Keira and Kitty learned to prepare meals for the family and care for the home, and Kingsley began to work on the farm.

Keira and Kitty learned to prepare meals for the family and care for the home, and Kingsley began to work on the farm. Since coming of age, Keira has obstinately refused to consider any marriage propositions brought to her. Since Kitty is now of an age to manage the household alone, her father is beginning to pressure her to pick a man lest he pick one for her.
Name: Edward McKay
Species: Human
Gender: Male
Age: 53
Appearance: A very big, burly man; white-haired, very light blue eyes, stern face
Personality: Gruff, silent, more brawn than brains; not very affectionate, expects only hard work from everyone, especially himself and his children
Biography: Edward or "Eddy" McKay was born and raised in Benevolence, child of a farmhand who had married the daughter of a fellow farmhand. His gentle, soft-spoken mother passed in childbirth, expelling the large bulk that was her son. Edward was raised by the wife of the farmhand from the next shack over, mostly, until she passed away from fever when he was nine. He started work on the farm early on, and then when his father died of the same fever that had gone around the bunkhouse to claim the life of his substitute mother, he was able to simply continue living in his bunk and working on the farm. Like his father before him, he ended up marrying the daughter of a fellow farmhand -- he just didn't get around to it until he was thirty, not being a particularly amorous man. He and Kathrine had their first children not a full month later; twins, named Kingsley and Keira. Two years later Kathrine gave birth to a girl, and died months after contracting a post-birth infection. He named the girl Katherine, and then generally left her to the care of neighbours and her older siblings.
Name: John Bell
Species: Human
Gender: Male
Age: 41
Appearance: Worn by his work, with big, rough hands; always in possession of a ready smile
Personality: Dutiful, loving, not outrageously intelligent
Biography: Mr. Bell is a highly respected and honoured man of the village. John was born and raised on the Bell Farm, and worked there his entire life. When his father passed away, he naturally inherited it. The local beauty, Olivia Chatham, caught his eye and being a Bell heir, her parents didn't turn him down. He married the reluctant Olivia when he was eighteen and she was fifteen. It wasn't long before they had their first child, Elizabeth, who they nicknamed Bess. The next year came Erick, after that was Mary Lynn, then Beatrice, and then Mercy. Bess grew into a beautiful woman with a cool, calm demeanor, and highly respected in the village for her steadfast and modest air -- though she carries a resentment for men that threatens to press her into spinsterhood. Erick is also an attractive, strong young man, and is honoured not only as the heir to the Bell Farm but as a volunteer at the watch towers. Mary Lynn grew to be outrageously attractive but stubborn and outlandish. Beatrice, no matter the efforts of her mother, seems to be incurable unintelligent. Mercy was born ill and raised ill, and is is constant need for care (being partly blind and deaf).
Name: Olivia Bell
Species: Human
Gender: Female
Age: 37
Appearance: Petite, slender, was obviously at one time quite beautiful
Personality: Cold, calculating, persistent, sure of what is "right"
Biography: Olivia was always cold. She was cold when she was the young beauty of the village, and coldly disappointed in her husband throughout their marriage, though he never seemed to acknowledge it. Her single-minded pursuit is to achieve the best for her children. She favours Erick above them all, and Bess more than any of the other girls. She views the three youngest as tiring, but never says so out loud.
Name: Beatrice Bell
Species: Human
Gender: Female
Age: 19
Appearance: Curvy, tall, very light blond hair
Personality: Bubbly, silly, quite sadly lacking in mental prowess
Biography: Beatrice is the second to last child of John and Olivia Bell. She has always been the one of lesser intelligence among her siblings, but amazingly is quite unaware of it. She likes to flirt, to dance, to sing, but is not very good at any of these (yet still, amazingly, is unaware of it). She is outrageously jealous of her sisters, except Mercy, who she pities but does nothing to help. Her heart is usually in the right place, despite her lack of deep thought.
