Player’s Name: Pen
Roleplay Experience: Around five or six years
Name: Cedric
Nickname/s: Ced – wouldn't suggest using it though
Species: Guardian
Gender: Male
Age: Seventh of November – Twenty years old
Play By: Chad Michael Murray / random cats
Appearance:
as a cat
As a feline, Cedric’s body is covered from head to tail with fawn fur, lightened only slightly around his mouth, chest and belly. His semi-long fur softens the appearance of most of his body structure, hiding lean muscles along his legs and sides. Much to his annoyance, he’s received quite a few comments that his appearance looks more feminine then masculine. Of course any of these comments were quickly replied with a sharp smack in the face. Sharp, tilted yellow eyes and constantly erect ears are always on the look out for any signs of trouble. Cedric has a small collection of scars that dot across his body, but doesn’t have any significantly noticeable ones.
as a human
Cedric isn’t the tallest Guardian you may come across, standing an inch or two just below six feet. This doesn’t deter him facing up against anyone though. He might not be as tall as many of his enemies and a few of his kin, but what Cedric lacks in size he makes up for in strength. He isn’t bulging with muscles, his figure actually more lean then bulky, but he certainly makes a daily effort to keep himself in shape. His fist will most likely pack more of a punch then you may expect, though his barbed comments are likely to hit you faster then anything else.
As a human Cedric’s eyes remain the same bright yellow color as they are while he is a feline. His hair is a tad darker then it is his other form however; dark brown around the roots while his tips are a lighter tan color. It never grows longer then a few inches, and often Cedric will keep it in a simple buzz cut style.
Personality:
Cedric isn’t exactly the friendliest of people when you first approach him. He appears grouchy all the time, wearing a seemingly permanent frown on his face. His lack of patience tends to make him easy to frustrate and anger. Free time has little meaning to him as Cedric feels he has to be doing something productive at all times. This can range from patrolling the village borders, taking up watch, training or (most often) watching over his younger siblings. Cedric takes his role as an older brother just as seriously as being a Guardian – though he’s found the position gives him the automatic job at becoming his sibling’s babysitter.
He is strict with both roles, though he has a tendency to be overprotective of his siblings. His methods of ‘protecting’ them have led to more then one squabble to start between them, but beneath his rough nature Cedric means well for his younger brother and sister. He takes pride in the fact that he’s a Guardian descent and being one he has heard stories, watched for and fought alongside his kin against their natural enemies; the Gewin. It is because of these experiences Cedric fears for his siblings. The thought of loosing one of them haunts his thoughts constantly and with their tendency to get into trouble, his instinct to keep them safe can become…. over bearing at best.
Biography:
The first born child of Guy and Claudia, Cedric has always been close with both of his parents - especially his father. He never strayed far from either of his parents as a child, only seen away from them when pestering an older Guardian for recounts on past experiences with Gewin. His parents did their best to indulge their son with knowledge about the Guardian’s adversaries, sometimes letting him tag along for a walk along the edge of the village or near the guard towers. These trips lessened when Deven and Maggie were born however, and Cedric was quickly put to work on watching over them whenever his parents needed a break.
When Claudia was more preoccupied with keeping his younger siblings in line, Guy spent his time with to train with or explore with Cedric. The older Guardian taught his son all sorts of things, from training techniques to the best watching places and maybe even the occasional cheesy pick up line. Cedric came to consider Guy as not only his father, but his closest friend. It was alongside his father Cedric fought his first Gewyn, having chased the creature away from attacking a village girl along the outskirts of Benevolence. If Cedric had a question, he’d go straight to his father. Have a problem he needed to talk about? Straight to Guy. Let loose a good rant about his siblings? … Well, you get the point.

ADMIN NOTE:
He's a fluff! Gorgeous, hun. And now you and I are tied with number of characters. Think about it: I've got two characters who are siblings, and then one Gewyn. You've got two characters who are siblings, and one Gewyn. Coincidence? Or great minds?
