Player’s Name: Renate
Player's Gender: Female
Roleplay Experience: 5 years
Name: Rawdon Bray
Species: Human
Gender: Male
Age: 30
Appearance:
At 6’1 tall, Rawdon is physically impressive and hard to overlook. His figure is rather slight as he never needed engage in hard labour to help him build muscle. Nevertheless, he manages to move with genteel grace and instinctively assumes a superior attitude in his figure that repulses the weak of mind. His face is gaunt, pallid and unfriendly with big, brown eyes that never cease to look disapprovingly. If only he sometimes smiled, the ladies might dare proclaim him handsome! Long, dark curls frame his face and are brushed back and a slight stubble remains on his chin to give him a more menacing appearance. Although he dresses according to the latest fashions (he brought some of his finest clothes with him to Benevolence), his attire is far from ostentatious and limits itself to shades of grey, brown and black.
Personality:
Rawdon can be best described as a supercilious jerk, who routinely treats people in a condescending manner and thinks most are so beneath his attention, he seems socially awkward and taciturn, causing offense with his rudeness wherever he goes. As such, he is a hard man to like and is called reclusive at best, insane at worst. He seems more interested in his pets than in his fellow man and since he came to town without the intention of staying and is without his animal companions, he is almost constantly cranky and only ever leaves his residence to get food on the table or go for his daily walk. Children tend to run away from the mere sight of him, women just hide behind their husbands. His only virtue is his dry wit, though he misapplies it to make himself feel superior in every situation. Independent, simple people scare him and uneducated farmers are his worst nightmare.
Biography:
Rawdon is a wealthy businessman who is in charge of the family business (they are in trade). He grew up in a large mansion in New York, never wanting for anything. Due to the fact that his father ran a business and is mother died giving birth to him, he was mainly raised by strict nannies and never learned how to love. Although he academically excelled, he always found it difficult to make friends and spent most of his adolescent life pouring over books. As such, he graduated with honours and soon moved up the career ladder in the family business. By the age of 25, he took over from his father, who retired and moved to Europe, writing to his only son just once a year for his birthday. Rawdon decided to expand the business and set up new work places around the American colonies until, this year, he brought his trade business to the small town of Benevolence, bought a dilapidated castle there to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and allowed himself some peace of mind at last, restoring his summer home. As he settles in his new house, rumours of midnight monsters soon reach his ears, but he quickly discards them as nonsense. How can they not be?

ADMIN NOTE:
I added the detail that the castle is dilapidated and he's restoring it, and changed the 'US' to 'American colonies', as this is pre-Revolutionary War. Usually I would wait for you to do this, but I want you to be able to play over the weekend while I'm out working at the garage sale. There are tiny details, so I assumed (hope not wrongly!) that it wouldn't be a big deal. Love him! Don't forget to claim that loverly face of his. Welcome to Benevolence!
