Appearance: Delilah has the signature look of being the child of Lilith Strangeway. With wavy strawberry blonde hair coming down to mid-back and bright blue eyes Delilah, like the rest of her family, is easy to find in a crowd. Especially with the fact that instead of having hair up on her head and in a bonnet, she lets it hang free. Though she is in the sun a lot she seems to have pale skin year around that makes her hair and eyes stand out more. Her body is petite with slight curves yet though she looks frail she is sturdy enough to do hard labor. She is one of those strange beauty’s that doesn’t fit the popular view of what is beautiful.
Personality: Strange. That’s what most people would call her, which only makes Delilah smile. On the outside she is quiet and polite to all she meets. Like her mother she has an almost ghostly calmness to her. Rarely do you see her flustered or anything then completely composed. Without giving off a sense of being superior she seems to have the poise of a cultured gentlewoman. It would seem like she was a model village girl, but the inside is what counts isn’t?
Behind the smile is an embittered soul. Along with her brother she despises the villagers; the two are great actors. Though she never shows rage she is smoldering underneath, and that can only be seen through a lonesome smile. She can also be manipulative, often being able to charm her way in and out of things. With a keen wit, disarming smirk, and mischief playing behind her eyes, Delilah is an unsuspected force to be reckoned with.
Biography: Delilah is the oldest child of Lilith and Dominic Strangeway. Even as a babe she was a quiet well behaved child. It was very unnatural and made her father a little unsettled that there was something wrong with her. But Delilah was healthy mentally and psychically. Eleven months later Delilah became a big sister at just under a year old. Delilah instantly had a connection with her little brother Aubry and would babble for hours to him. This relieved Dominic that his daughter was finally making some noise.
As a young girl she was still quiet but would speak her mind when she felt like it and was encouraged to do so my her mother. She was very much an independent child, often going off to the field or sitting off to the side by herself, though she did love the company of her family. However because of her calm and almost loner disposition she didn’t have many friends, it also made the villagers more aware of the matriarch of the family being an unnerving outsider. A mysterious eerie outsider producing an offspring, two in fact, who have an equal aura didn’t go over so well.
This has kept her from having friends or suitors. But she doesn’t mind it really. Especially when she found out of the villagers practically shunning her family.
Delilah has always thought though that her life wasn’t being lived to it’s fullest. She wanted some excitement and danger. Sure there was a little danger in her life with her mother teaching her black magic ways, but she thought that the villagers were to scared of them to do anything. So to get some thrills, only a few years ago, she started wandering into the woods at night. So far she has had the unlucky luck of not running into anything…yet.
