Player’s Name: Amy (I have many nicknames but we’ll make this simple ^_^ People will probably end up giving me some new ones anyway XD )
Player's Gender: GUESS
Roleplay Experience: Not long….XD
Name: Enya Ayre
Species: Human
Gender: Female
Age: Sixteen
Appearance:
Enya is an extremely delicate looking individual, extremely petite in every way. She is only 4”11, and very slim, looking as if the slightest breath of wind could blow her away. This is accentuated by her pale skin and light blonde hair, which curls down her back. Her eyes are an extremely pale blue colour, and overall she looks very ethereal. She is very pretty, and is either noticed because of her beauty, or unnoticed because of her size and colouring – if she is not drawing any attention to herself she will easily fade into the background. Her attire is very simple like all villagers, and often a little large for her, as she will invariably wear hand-me-downs from her elder sister. However, she does have one thing which adds some flair to her appearance, and that is she very rarely goes without wearing some kind of wildflower on her person, be it pinned to her bodice, her belt, of in her hair.
Personality:
Enya is one of those people who are either unnoticed or impossible to miss – it all depends on whom she is with. When she is with people she knows and trusts, she becomes bright, animated, and very friendly. When she is with people she doesn’t know or dislikes, however, she is exceedingly quiet and shy, often fading into the background somewhat. She is an extremely opinionated young girl, but whether she voices these opinions again depends on whom she is with. These sudden changes in temperament often confuse and sometimes annoy people, but the problem boils down to her lack of trust, but the trust builds over time if people accept her for who she is.
She is a naturally observant and analytical young girl, and while having the same degree of education as those around her, she would find details and draw judgements about everything and everyone without being taught how. This can make her a difficult person, however, because when she is going through her quiet stage, she will always be watching and analysing everyone, and if a person acts in a way she thinks is bad or unfair, she will often treat them somewhat coldly, which will seem odd to other people.
Her change in personality depending on whether she likes/trusts the person are often misinterpreted as mood swings, which does infuriate her somewhat. She has a sharp tongue at times which has a tendency to run away with her, especially if she is angry about something. While it takes a lot to anger Enya, she does become extremely annoyed if she believes people are behaving unjustly towards her or any of the people she loves. She is fiercely protective of those she loves, and would probably do almost anything for them, even if it would mean putting herself at risk. She is very compassionate and whole hearted when it comes to those she considers to be her friends, and she is good fun and extremely caring, it just takes a while for her to build enough trust to create a friendship, but if she likes someone, she will get there in the end.
Biography:
Enya was born in a small village about three days walking away from Benevolence as the third child of Owain and Isolde Ayre. She spent a happy childhood in the company of her parents and older twin siblings, Bethan and Dylan. When she was seven, another little sister, Maegan was born, and then her final sibling was born when she was twelve, a little boy named Cai. Her father worked as a physician and her mother was a seamstress, and Enya inherited her father’s knowledge for plants and herbs, and her mother’s sewing skills, making her well rounded and useful at home. She excels in both activities as she enjoys them both, and would be happy doing one or the other for a long while until she finds something else she would like to try. Enya was liked by the people in her village, as she had grown up with them and learnt to trust them, and so her friendly, sun side was present all of the time, unless an outsider came, and then her lack of trust would show dramatically.
One day when Enya had just turned sixteen, a rare and new plague struck the village. Various healthy villages were dispatched by Enya’s father to find the only known plant which could be used to create a cure. The plant only grew deep in the forest, and Enya and her father also set out through the forest in the direction of Benevolence to attempt to find a growth of it. They travelled for three days, with no luck. Once night fell on the third day, they were found by the Gewin. A gang of three males came across them as they were about to bed down for the night, and attacked. They noticed her father first as Enya was relieving herself a little way away, and attacked him. Although Enya didn’t know at the time, her father had caught the plague too and was weakening. She ran towards him, screaming at them to stop, and one of them attacked her too, feeding from her flesh and blood. As they were already full from feeding from her father, they left her before she was too severely injured. She crawled over to her father, who was dying. She held his hand and stroked his bloody head, pleading and begging him not to die, but there was nothing she could do, and he died mere minutes later. She remained with him until the morning, and thankfully no more Gewin came along. As soon as it was light, she blindly began to walk, tired, freezing and losing quite a lot of blood, and reached Benevolence an hour later. She managed to make it into the village, wanting to find someone who could help her, before collapsing on the ground, seriously injured and in grave need of help…and that brings us up to the present.
Apologies for the delay, hope it’s okay ! (:
