What are your phobias? You know, the irrational things. Most of us are obviously going to be repelled by things like "getting shot". I am certainly afraid of "getting shot". But what else?
I have something called automanophobia. I'm afraid of anything falsely representing human life or the human body. This includes dolls, mannequins, wax figures, dress forms, corpses, masks, and wigs. Full-size photographs also make me antsy.
I'm also afraid of hypodermic needles. This one was actually caused by a bad incident, but now it's just irrational.
And you? =D

I have to say you are the first person I've ever met with that phobia. Very odd.
I have several...they're not true phobias, I just know they are things I struggle with on a daily basis: Philophobia - you'll have to look this one up. Agoraphobia - fear of large crowds...I think this goes with the one below it mostly Aphenphosmphobia/Haphephobia - fear of being touched. I really don't like to be randomly touched in any way. I like my personal space and don't like it invaded even by accident. Makes me feel like I need to sanitize myself. Hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia - fear of the number the involves three sixes, I have bad enough luck as it is...I just find I can't let anything involving numbers end like that.

I don't think it's an official phobia and it's not at phobia status...but I'm disproportionately creeped/weirded/freaked/disgusted by creatures with mandibles. The reason it's irrational? I like lady bugs and rolly pollies...because I can't see their mandibles but the mealworms I feed my pet lizards terrify me. I have to pick them up with tweezers. >.<

Oh, I was at the mall once and I ran into a mannequin and thought it was real for a minute. I don't like them either...
I've developed social phobia when I was a kid. Quoting googlehealth cuz I'm too lazy to define it myself, "Social phobia is a persistent and irrational fear of situations that may involve scrutiny or judgment by others, such as parties and other social events". It's not so bad anymore, but I used to hyperventilate or get really nauseated if I started talking to people, lol. I consider the internet my cure x) I've always been the observer, type, preferring the sidelines...

Just like Aubry ! :D
Ermmmmmmm, my fear is pretty stupid...but I am very scared of some birds, especially chickens and cockerels >.> Like, I panic if one comes near me. Goodness knows why....
And I'm not scared of crowds, but I hate them. They get me frustrated and stressed when I can't move anywhere and don't have enough space.

I was working audio crew for a big production of The Bacchae last year and the director was going to have live peacocks on stage but they ended up not being able to do it because one of the actresses had a bird phobia too. You're not alone!

I'm glad I'm not the only one! I shudder at the sight of mannequins and wax figures. Though for some reason I also want to see a Madame Tussauds museum. Lol at my school we have a mannequin up and the hand came off. Well it was laying around in the office and it needed to be moved somewhere else and I couldn't come within inches of touching just the hand.
I also have a fear of falling I'd guess you'd call it. Maybe it's just paranoia but I'll be on a balcony and have this fear that it's going to fall out from under me.

OMG, The Bacchae ! That is SO exciting ! We studied it in Classics, haha, love it. And the odd thing is, peacocks don't bother me, despite the hideous noise they make. But hens....urgh. And emus and ostriches ! Omg, they terrify me ;__;

xD Wow, we are a dysfunctional bunch. I forgot to mention that though I adore swimming, if I let myself even think about it I'll freak myself out: I'm terrified of sea serpents. You know, like big, huge water snakes. I have nightmares about that. I've swam with sharks and been fine, big fish are fine, eels are even fine, but snakes are not fine. I'm fine with snakes on land, though. o.0 And awww, Ben! I'm cruel, so knowing that won't keep me from laying on the love. ^^ I'm weird; I actually really love to be touched, and sometimes I go to crowded places just to be able to rub up against strangers. I love it when my hair is touched. I just go into ecstatics. xD If I had a purr motor, I would be using it. I live in Chickentown, CA (not the real name, but there are chickens walking around the streets everywhere and every year there's a Chicken Festival). You'd obviously hate it here.

Haha...a purr motor? Really? Definitely not me. I think I'd prefer stepping on a cactus as opposed to rubbing up against people.
