Player’s Name: Kirstin
Player's Gender: Female
Roleplay Experience: 5 years
Name: Eli Emory Fayne
Species: Human
Gender: Male
Age: 26
Appearance: Eli has a tall and slender frame which often makes him stand out in a crowd. The long and slightly curly hair that surrounds his elegant face is chocolate brown, although the sunlight sometimes gives it a golden glow. His gentle and equally shimmering brown eyes are evidence he is a young man who loves to smile.
Personality: Eli was raised with kindness and patience, traits that are very dominant in his character. Always the optimist, he tries to overcome the obstacles that are thrown at him. Always the good citizen and friend, he tries to help others overcome the obstacles that are thrown at them. He might have boyish good looks but isn’t interested in trivial things like that at all. Instead he believes in the importance of a good day’s work and spends a lot of time reading up on the great mysteries and discoveries of the world, adding to his natural charisma. Although his intellect is that of great depth and diversity, he remains modest, claiming the true reward of his knowledge lies in the fact he can provide answers and explanations for others.
His wisdom, however, also comes with an obvious down-side as he never fails to think his opinion to be the most accurate one. This sometimes causes others to think of him as arrogant and conceited. Apart from being uneasily swayed to adjust his point of view, he is also very stubborn and has a strong thirst for adventure; often getting himself into unpleasant if not dangerous situations. Furthermore, his patient nature does not extend to his projects and undertakings; in that field he is a man who simply cannot sit still for too long and experiences waiting as torture. Strangely enough, his wild streak is accompanied by a certain shyness. For the truth is this; he might be a very talented and self-assured professor, but when it comes to his social life there is often a subtle blush on his cheeks. This causes him to treat grand social events, like balls and neighbourhood picnics, with great economy – preferably staying in the background if he does attend one.
Biography: He was born to Agnes Francis and Charles Fayne in London. Both his parents come from a wealthy family, further nurtured by his father’s career in law enforcement. Thus, Eli was raised to become a very ambitious and erudite young man, set to study at the newly founded Oxford. And so he did, successfully. Yet after finishing his studies of ancient literature and history, he felt an extreme hunger to discover the real world. So he left his beloved England behind to travel through Europe for several years to get to know the stories and legends he read so much about. Here he accumulated work experience serving as a professor in the towns he visited during his trip.
He came back home at the age of 25, but refused to grant his parent’s wishes to settle down and start a family with one of the ladies they had picked out for him. After suffering a year of meeting potential brides, he accepted one of his colleague’s wagers to travel to a small, far away town from which several inhabitants were said to have been attacked or eaten alive by unknown forest creatures. His colleague claimed Eli might risk his life to find out what is happening in Benevolence, but to him it seemed the perfect chance to get out and have one last taste of adventure…
