Appearance:
Keira is, by description, a happy medium between soft and enigmatically appealing. She has fairly light skin, maybe more a bare olive hue than just pink. Her eyes are the balance between golden hazel and green, not large nor small, and set off with dark lashes. Her hair is a deep brown, often mistaken for black in dimmer lighting, with chance streaks of a caramel/auburn throughout. Her hair’s length and body has never changed; hanging just at her breast with a heavy wave to its whole. Her jaw is blunt, strong, but in no way masculine, contributing to more of the darker, sharper beauty of her face.
Keira stands at an average five foot seven, her body slim and petite but not twiggy with the sinuous existence of muscle in the right places. She has lengthy, agile legs often accustom to a runner, donating to her overall graceful exterior.
In all her manifestation is about as mysterious as her personality, almost ghostly in movement.
Personality:
Keira is quiet but not shy, keeping everything about herself to herself. Though she is barely standoffish she’s more likely to avoid conversation than strike it up- nevertheless she’s the stranger that will give you a smile if your paths happen to cross and your eyes manage to meet. If approached she’ll smoothly keep conversation to a pleasant extent before politely going on her way. She remains unsolved, unread except by family, and has a brilliant talent for keeping how she honestly feels beneath the surface. Keira is smart, self-aware, and despite her core personality, has a big heart but pays no mind to giving it away. She is delightfully friendly but hard to be friends with; keeping everything sheltered away so severely her fault is remaining a stranger to even those who’ve known her lengths of time.

Kingsley and Keira were born to Edward and Kathrine McKay in year XXVIII. They were raised by their mother in the small cottage home at the edge of the farm on which their father worked. He ignored both his wife and them for the most part, simply working, eating and sleeping. When Kathrine died following little Katherine's birth, the children mostly received their care from neighbours' wives when the women found the time. When they were old enough, they commenced with caring for themselves and for their little sister. Keira and Kitty learned to prepare meals for the family and care for the home, and Kingsley began to work on the farm. Since coming of age, Keira has obstinately refused to consider any marriage propositions brought to her. Since Kitty is now of an age to manage the household alone, her father is beginning to pressure her to pick a man lest he pick one for her.
