Player’s Name: Pen
Roleplay Experience: Five or six years
Name: Margaret ( prefers Maggie )
Nickname/s: Maggie or Mags to close friends
Species: Guardian
Gender: Female
Age: Fifteenth of Quinqueber – Eighteen years old
Play By: Allison Mack / random cats
Appearance:
as a cat
Maggie is aware that her feline grace and abilities are available to her even when she isn’t a cat; it’s just that she’s more comfortable with four legs then two. Not to mention it’s colder without fur. As a cat Maggie takes on the appearance of a cream tabby, her stripes a dull orange against her pale fur. Her eyes are yellow with noticeable strands of green gathered around her wide pupils. She’s on the small side but has a wiry build, making her look taller.
as a human
On the rare occurrence Maggie changes out of her feline form, she looks just about as… unique as she was before. Her human body is thin, borderline lanky with little muscle evident and stands at only about five foot three. Like other Guardians, Maggie is pale in this form, but appears to be oh-so-lightly tanned. Her hair is cut short to the length of her chin and mimics the color of the straw. Since Maggie isn’t bothered with keeping up with her appearance, her hair often sticks out wildly and often smudged with dirt. As a human her eyes take on more of a greenish color, but can quickly change to yellow if she gets angered.
Personality:
One word that could quickly describe Maggie? Boisterous. Not one to hold her tongue, she’ll gladly voice any of her opinions or ideas. She doesn’t really notice (or half the time care) if the subject is inappropriate or can come off as rude. If she wants to say something, she’ll say it. She doesn’t do this to be mean though and has a good heart behind her words. She is extremely curious and not entirely mindful of warnings, which has more then once led her into the face of danger. Maggie is a quick learner in this respect – able to learn more through experience then lessons, but she still remains naïve about certain larger topics. The largest being the constant battle between the Gewin and the Guardians. She doesn’t understand why the Gewin hunt the humans so much, or how they (the Gewin and Guardians) got into this situation in the first place.
Nonetheless, Maggie is entirely loyal to her kind and the people of Benevolence and prides herself on being one of their ‘protectors’. She’ll never quite be the best fighter out there but she is determined to keep the villagers out of harms way. She is especially fond of children and is most often seen trailing after the village’s younger generation. Not that she doesn’t like adults, it’s just that she gets along better with kids, seeing as she still thinks she is one.
Biography:
From the moment she was born Margaret’s parents knew their daughter was something… different. Not necessarily in the bad way, but she certainly wouldn’t be anything like her peers. She grew up as any type of typical kitten would – overly curious, always looking for adventure and questioning the boundaries and rules. Always the handful (or pawful, whichever you prefer) Maggie was almost always under the watchful eyes of her parents – or looked after by one of her unwilling siblings. Her grandfather was probably the only one Maggie ever truly listened too – he’d always been fond of her despite her rambunctious nature. He said she reminded him of her grandmother, who had passed away some time ago from old age. Maggie adored her grandfather, and not only because he tolerated her, but took the time to listen to her. Not to mention he told some pretty exciting stories.
While not entirely trusted to watch out for Gewyn’s lurking around the edges of the village, Maggie has grown to become an exceptional watchman. Of course, she doesn’t have much patience for it, but she has learned to (occasionally) calm herself down when need be. She can be usually found relaxing with her family or following after one of the town’s younger tot’s. They never cease to amuse her – not to mention share her insatiable appetite for adventure.
