My Birthday

Greetings, my beloved members!

My eighteenth birthday is fast approaching. I'm fresh out of a hospital situation and eager to celebrate. Disneyland is offering free admission on birthdays in 2009 and I have friends in the area who are willing to house me, so from tomorrow until Sunday I am going to be away in La La Land.

Yes, I am going to Disneyland on my own. And yes, I'm going to have a blast anyway.

My only disappointment (and I won't play it down -- it's a big one) is that, because of some corporate team who deserve to have their faces removed by an angry Gewyn, the Haunted Mansion in Disneyland has a Christmas overlay (Nightmare Before Christmas, which deserves it's own ride and has no place in the Mansion) that completely takes away everything I love about the original ride -- and they put it up from September to February. Meaning that the Haunted Mansion has a Christmas theme on Halloween, my birthday! How idiotic and disappointing is that? T__T

At least I have the Tower of Terror. -sniff sniff-

HAPPEH BIRTHDAY!!!!!!! Whenever that may be. xD Haha, I hope you have an awesome time down in Disney (at least, it's down for me). I'm going in March and I can't wait! I hope you're eighteenth birthday ish somethin' special. It's a great age, I've heard.

Thank you, guys! ^_^ I had loads of fun. Lexi, I didn't know of your request at the time but I still rode the Tower of Tower ten times. And enjoyed every minute of it. I really loved giggling at the hidden Twilight Zone artifacts all over the intro room.

I also collected a few emails for a petition against the NBC overlay being put up before Halloween.
