Tales of Raylion
Raylion, known to many as home, is a galaxy of planets and stars arranged in such a way that anything can happen. Three stars stand at a threefold and serve as suns to which different planets orbit. Humans have come from a far distant Milky Way to inhabit this home, and yet they find that many civilizations are already thriving amongst the planets. Aine, the smallest of the systems, carries Earth’s Breaker and Feylia, two planets that most resemble Earth. Nenet’s system planets carry Ra, Pira, and Waterfall. Ra is a sharp sand covered planet that buffets all life that tries to thrive on it. Pira is a world at war between the werepeople and the vampires. Humans try and make peace there, but they usually end up on one side or the other in events that range. Waterfall is a place of mermaids and mermen and is a planet that has only a few short places of land. Zachi’s planets contain Fire’s Hearth, Eari, and Judgment. Fire’s Hearth, with its lakes of lava and constant volcanoes, proves to be a very inhospitable place. However, dragons roam free, fire elementalists thrive, and humans work desperately to exist. Eari is a two pronged world with trees growing out of the water that covers they surface of the planet. In the trees, winged humans with birdlike forms fly. Under the water lives another kind of merperson. The two species are relatively peaceful in correspondence with each other. On Judgment, angelic creatures and demons are constantly at war. Who will win these fights? No one knows.
Between the warring and peaceful worlds, a vast amount of trade has flourished, and an interconnected union has formed. The intergalactic government was formed millennia ago to maintain the peace of the universe and has set up bases on nearly all of the worlds of Raylion. However, with that comes those that oppose this kind of control especially those of the warring worlds. In these planets, the government is not in full control, and falters immensely. The demons of Judgment took it upon themselves to destroy the base that the government had created and threatened death to any human that came within the vicinity of Judgment every again.
The planet of Earth’s Breaker resembles the planet Earth and was the first home to the humans that had traveled light years to discover the area. It has plants and shrubs that resemble Earth’s and animals that also resemble Earth’s. However, there is a predator known as a Chimera that roams the lands and sometimes terrorizes the humans that live there. On Earth’s Breaker, there is also the central part of the government established there by the humans.
Feylia, Aine’s other planet, is the planet of the fair ones. Faeries of all types roam the land and forests of this planet. The inhabitants are hospitable only to those they find trust worthy and are dangerous to all otherwise. Humans have tried to colonize on this planet, but most have been destroyed in the cradle of their beginnings. The fare ones have their own hierarchy and tend to disregard the rules of the interplanetary government, and because of this, conflict has grown against outsiders.
Ra is the planet of endless sand that resides in Nenet’s system. The inhabitants are a mixture of species that can withstand the heat. Werepeople, dragons, vampires, and humans roam prowling the endless sand for hidden treasures. Water is scarce, but there are a few towns that manage to survive with the help of the long river that flows all the way through the planet. There are pyramids that appear to rise up through the sand, and long ago the hierarchical system of the pharaohs was established which still continues today. The people of Ra tend to follow the rules of the intergalactic government for the most part but will rebel when they feel it necessary.
Pira, another of Nenet’s planets, is a world at constant war. For generations the werepeople have quarreled with the vampires. It is a dangerous world, and yet humans try and colonize it as best they can. There are few humans, and those that manage to stay alive are often turned into either a wereperson or a vampire. The wars are bloody, and those that try and seek peaceful ways to end the conflict always end up hurt in the end. The galactic government states that it has power over the planet, and yet most know that this is not the case.
Waterfall, a world completely covered in water, is another of Nenet’s planets. The merpeople of this world are extremely violent, and are hostile to any outsiders. The merpeople are neutral to the idea of the government, but if they get anywhere near to merpeople affairs, aren't afraid to attack. A beast sleeps deep under the water and has yet to be awakened. It is said to be the protector of the world.
Within Zaci’s system, the world of Fire’s Hearth is a violent volcanic terrain with rivers of lava and air of smoke. Dragons rule the skies while fire elementalists rule the ground. Humans have tried desperately to colonize this world in the past and only managed meager results at best. Dragons established the world as their nesting home and are very protective of each other. This causes territorial instincts to call on the dragons to fight humans moving in.
On Eair, another planet on Zaci’s system, there exists two main life forms: the winged people of the above world and the merpeople of the world below. The main barrier between the two groups is the factor of water. Despite this, the two great races are at peace for the most part. The winged people respect the government more than the merpeople, and yet both work to keep peace not only on their world but the other worlds as well.
Judgment, the last of Zaci’s planets, is a world brought into being as a place for angelic people and demons to quarrel. The war that has plagued the world has been going on since ancient times, and yet there doesn’t seem to be any sign of it ever stopping. To keep others out of the conflict, the angels decreed a barrier that makes it impossible to enter or exit the world. However, smugglers have seemed to be able to defeat this barrier from time to time.
Within the stars, space pirates, with the goal of taking the treasures transported from world to world, run rampant. The pirates built their own order and established the strongest among them to be their king. This king was to rule the pirates and take them to the ultimate treasure known as Rayliona, but through countless skirmishes, the established king was dethroned many times. However, the strong fist of Shenyu Skybreaker took hold and established the hierarchy once again making himself king of the pirates. Shenyu ruled with the fist and teeth of a demon straight out of Judgment, and the intergalactic government feared him immensely. Bounty after bounty was placed on this ruler’s head, and yet he was to remain elusive… until the day he was betrayed and hanged. With that, the chapter of the story seemed to end. However, the body of Shenyu disappeared from the morgue the day after he died….
