Is it illegal to share music via a blog?

The music that I post in my blog is recorded from gramophone records. Reading the recent article about the woman in Minnesota who has to pay 1.9 million for copyright infringement, I'm considering closing my blog. I have to mention that most of the vinyl records in my collection are not available on cd, so I was just doing a favor to all the music lovers.
