Hartswood is a fictional town based loosely off of the real-life city: Chicago. Gangs and street crime plague the city. Those with noble intentions face the challenges of overcoming the corrupt justice system.
Players may choose from a wide variety of occupations and statuses for their characters as shown here.
These are just a few ideas in case you feel stuck. Feel free to mix and match. Just because you play a high school student does not mean that the character can't be involved in the gang of their choice. Or what about the lawyer who is a member of a gang and helps get their people out of trouble? Double agents can be gang-on-gang crime or police infiltrating a gang (be warned that in-game consequences could be unfavorable should they be found out.)
